Blogger Hop Friday - raining and reading The Hunger Games

Book Blogger Hop

ABOUT THE HOP:

In the spirit of the Twitter Friday Follow, the Book Blogger Hop is a place just for book bloggers and readers to connect and share our love of the written word! This weekly BOOK PARTY is an awesome opportunity for book bloggers to connect with other book lovers, make new friends, support each other, and generally just share our love of books! It will also give blog readers a chance to find other book blogs to read! So, grab the logo, post about the Hop on your blog, and start HOPPING through the list of blogs that are posted in the Linky list at Crazy-For-Books!!

The Hop lasts Friday-Monday every week, so if you don't have time to Hop today, go back later and join the fun! This is a weekly event! And go back throughout the weekend to see all the new blogs that are added!

This week's question comes from Books Are A Girls Best Friend!

Do you use a rating system and if so, what it is and why?

I do not use a rating system. I usually end each post with the publication information and my recommendation. I always like it when people DO use a rating system - with one quick glance I can see if they liked it or not. I often think about creating one, but haven't yet - then I would have to decide how to rate each book??#@

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend. I just finished The Hunger Games and have started the next book, Catching Fire. Don't be like me and wait forever to read them as the first book was really good. I had to stay up way past my normal bedtime last night just to see what was going to happen. I really appreciate all of the reviews and the excitement surrounding these books over the last few weeks. Your words or praise really encouraged me to read the books. Soon it will be Mockingjay time for me. (All on the borrowed Kindle, I might add.)

Have you read them? Did you love them? Which book was your favorite?

Hopping on by and saying hello!

*waves*

Sometimes it is easier to say what you feel and think then it is to rate anothers work.

Happy Reading!

I'm hopping back. Thanks so much for taking a look around my blog. I really appreciate it!

I've read The Hunger Games and Catching Fire. I am currently on Mockingjay and like it just as much as the others so far. Actually, my husband is reading The Hunger Games right now which means pigs are about to sprout wings any second. He's read maybe 10 books for leisure in his entire life. He's loving it too! Glad to hear you are liking them. They are so worth the read!

I'm actually re-reading Hunger Games right now- really hard because Mockingjay is sitting there taunting me but I want to experience the whole series together, so I'm re-reading. Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Just found you via the Hop! I'm currently re-reading HUNGER GAMES, then I'll re-read CATCHING FIRE and finally, I'll read MOCKINGJAY! I love the series. It's funny - even though I've already read the first two books, I'm still anxious to see what happens to Katniss!

Thank you for visiting me during the hop!

All right, so ..

I just went through both The Hunger Games and Catching Fire in less than 24 hours! (Like you, for some reason, I just never got to them). NOW I am HUNGRY for Mockingjay ... my first stop after work on payday (Tuesday) will be to my local Waldenbooks (Borders Express) to pick up a copy and likely read on that until my eyes are too tired to stay open!

Thanks so much for stopping by Read It, See It on the hop!

I'm currently listening to The Hunger Games on audio and can't wait to start Catching Fire, though I'll be waiting to borrow Mockingjay from the library unil October because there are nearly 50 people on the wait list in front of me. I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

Hi there, thanks for visiting my blog! :)

I agree, it's pretty hard to come up with a suitable and creative rating system.

You read books on the Kindle? Wow. If I had one I think the screen would've cracked within the few weeks, haha.

Thanks for stopping by! I haven't read Mockingjay yet, but I read the other two and loved them. I haven't read any reviews of Mockingjay but hopefully they're not all negative!! I borrowed the other two from my neighbor and she just got Mockingjay so I'm sure I'll be reading it soon!
